Physical Therapists have a regular tendency to under dose exercise and often fail to have a well reasoned vertical (withing session) periodization plan when approaching patient treatment. Critical thinking, thoughtful exercise selection, focus on loading, and well reasoned sequencing is often overlooked. Many physical therapists could learn a thing or two from strength coaches when it comes to program design.
